Why did Dior Men's Wear Early Autumn Conference cooperate with Japanese artist HajimeSorayama?
Kim jones, artistic director of Dior Men's Wear, launched the men's wear collection in the early autumn of 19 19, which opened a new perspective. This time, he chose Japan as the venue for his second large-scale program after taking office. This is also the first time the brand has launched a men's show in Tokyo. Dior is committed to creating the future while taking root in tradition, which is similar to the inheritance and innovation of Japanese contemporary classics.

Dior has a deep relationship with Japan. Christian dior loves Japanese culture. He studied Japanese clothing, drew inspiration from it and injected his works. His high-end customized series is deeply influenced by Asian culture. The waist is dotted with a wide knotted belt, which gently covers the waist. The drooping seamless shoulder design is like a kimono with soft lines. These exquisite elements from traditional Japanese clothing are repeated in Mr. Dior's design works.

This season, Kim Jones inherits Dior's timeless classic style and presents modern Japanese culture with a strong sense of the future. He traces back to Japanese traditional culture and boldly examines the future world depicted by contemporary Japanese culture. This series combines tradition with new trends, top clothing technology with cutting-edge sense of science and technology to create a refreshing fusion of works.

In the 1920s, Mr Dior was engaged in the management of art galleries. Inspired by this, Kim Jones once again opened the cooperation between Dior brand and artists. Several works selected in this fashion show were designed in cooperation with Japanese contemporary artist Igawa Keimei. This cooperation is rooted in Japanese culture and dares to explore boundaries and possibilities.

HajimeSorayama also designed a display device for the release show of men's wear series in early autumn: a nearly perfect female body sculpture stood in the center of the show, symbolizing Mr. Dior's praise for the sacred beauty of women.

Inspired by Japanese uniforms, this season's men's collection is streamlined, but not boring. Dior has three classic elements, namely red birch tweed, pink and leopard print, which have been widely used. Every element is a brand-new interpretation and creation, and leopard print is dyed with watercolor painting. Jeans adopt a special weaving method, presenting an antique effect, just like an antique classic collection; Dior's iconic rose element is rendered with Japanese cherry blossom powder. It is a wonderful match with Dior's classic pearl gray tone.
