How to maintain clothes in winter?
First, cashmere sweater
1. Cashmere sweaters should not be worn for a long time, but should be worn intermittently to restore the elasticity of cashmere fibers.
2. Cashmere sweaters and all kinds of wool clothes must be moisture-proof and insect-proof, and the wardrobe should be ventilated frequently, preferably with dehumidifier, mothballs or insect repellent.
Second, down jacket
1. The down jacket can't be directly wrung out after washing to prevent the duck down inside from caking. Instead, slowly squeeze out the water and put it in a ventilated place to dry (flat or hanging to dry).
2. Down jackets can't be ironed. After drying, pat it gently to restore its bulkiness.
Third, leather clothing.
1. Leather clothes should be hung for storage to avoid folding.
2. Decontamination treatment should be carried out before storage, and professional leather curing agent can be used.
3. The wardrobe also needs ventilation to prevent insects, so as to avoid mildew, and the insect repellent should not be in direct contact with leather clothes.
Winter clothing maintenance skills
1. Maintenance of cotton and linen clothes
Cotton and linen are composed of cellulose macromolecules and have good hygroscopicity. When stored, it is mainly mildew-proof, that is, to prevent the reproduction of mold microorganisms. The main method is to keep the fabric clean and dry, especially in the rainy season in summer.
2. Wool care
Attention should be paid to when ironing:
(1) The temperature of the iron can be higher, and the dirty place of the woolen cloth can be ironed several times, but don't directly touch the woolen cloth to avoid strong light;
(2) the towel should be washed with water constantly, and the warm water in the basin should be constantly updated;
(3) After "dry cleaning", woolen clothes can be hung up with hangers, and then they can be worn after the moisture is fully dried.
Woolen clothes are prone to damp and mildew. Because wool contains oil and protein, it is easy to be eaten by insects and bitten by mice. Pay attention to the following points when keeping:
(1) It is best not to fold it, but to hang it on a hanger and store it in a cabinet to avoid wrinkling when wearing it.
(2) The cabinet for storing clothes should be kept clean and dry, the temperature should be kept below 25℃ and the relative humidity should be kept below 60%. At the same time, mothballs should be put to avoid damp, mildew or insects. Store clothes in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight to avoid fading.
(3) Always take it out to dry (don't expose it to the sun), pat off dust and remove moisture. After drying, let it cool before putting it in the cupboard.
(4) When the worn clothes need to be stored for changing seasons, they should be cleaned to avoid mildew or moth-eaten caused by sweat stains and dust.
Maintenance tips of winter down jacket
(1) Moisture-proof and frequent sun exposure. In winter, down products should be dried every 3 ~ 5 days. When drying, they can be gently patted with a wooden stick to remove moisture, make them soft and prolong their service life.
(2) Beware of serious injuries. Generally, the fabrics of down products are extremely afraid of being scratched by sharp tools such as nails and knives, because this will cause down to fly away, which will not only hinder washing, but also scrap down products, so be extra careful when wearing them. In addition, it is also necessary to prevent cigarette butts and open flames from burning them out.
(3) Collect carefully. The down jacket before collection must be washed and dried to prevent mildew and insects. Metal buttons and zippers of down products should be coated with a layer of Bo Tu wax grease to avoid rusting. You can put it in a large plastic bag when you collect it, and then put it in a box. Don't put mothballs in the box.
Storage method of cashmere sweater in winter
One: Fold cashmere sweater in the middle. Then put the hanger upside down under the armpit, and put the sleeves and main body of the cashmere sweater on the hanger.
Two: Hang the clothes rack in a dry and shaded wardrobe, and then put some mothballs on it.
Note: Even if the cashmere sweater is worn only once, it should be thoroughly cleaned before being put away. Because wool is easily corroded, cashmere sweaters will be greatly damaged if the carrier and human sweat stay for a spring and summer!
