What we generally call spacesuits can be divided into in-cabin spacesuits and extravehicular spacesuits. In fact, the in-cabin spacesuit is not a spacesuit strictly, and its production is far from the real spacesuit. It only says extravehicular activity here. Space is a very harsh environment. There is no air for human beings to breathe, so there is no atmospheric pressure, and the temperature there is also very strange. The hot sun shines directly on one side, and the temperature rises very high. When there is no sun, the temperature in the cold space is extremely low. In addition, strong cosmic radiation and flying meteorites are also great dangers threatening astronauts. Once the astronauts leave the spaceship, when there is a vacuum outside, there is an atmospheric pressure inside the spacesuit. As you can imagine from the strength, it must be very strong, otherwise there is a vacuum outside and atmospheric pressure inside, which will explode, so the strength of the space suit should be very high. Space obeys the basic design. There are several layers:

The first line is the underwear layer, which is light, soft, elastic, heat conductive and breathable. There is a wonderful belt with a complex micro-monitoring system, which is responsible for recording all kinds of physiological data (heart rate, body temperature, breathing), as well as the temperature and radiation dose data inside the spacesuit, as a dynamic monitoring of astronauts.

The second is the temperature regulating layer, which adopts the new technology of "heat pipe liquid temperature regulation". This layer is lined with a large number of PVC thin tubes with liquid in them. The temperature of the spacesuit can be adjusted by the flow of liquid, which is very efficient. There are three levels of temperature to choose from, which are controlled by astronauts themselves.

The third layer is the pressurization layer, which is a sealed inflatable layer made of special rubber and filled with air of one atmospheric pressure, because low air pressure must be prevented in the cosmic vacuum.

The fourth way is the adhesive layer, which has two functions, bonding the third layer into the shape of clothes and helping the outermost layer resist the attack of tiny meteorites. It also has excellent heat insulation performance to prevent internal and external heat exchange.

The fifth way is the protective layer, which is a kind of high-strength "body armor" made of special synthetic fibers. It must resist the attack of tiny meteorites flying like bullets and absorb the energy of cosmic rays.

In fact, the real spacesuit is more than these layers. For example, there are as many as 15 layers of spacesuits in the United States. This is not a backpack that astronauts carry. This backpack and spacesuit are connected together to form a complete life support system. Including automatic and manual equipment, such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, ventilation, circulation, monitoring, filtering, power supply, oxygen supply, etc. In addition, the American spacesuit is equipped with a flight system, and 24 jets can be controlled by astronauts at any time. There is also an electronic communication system.

Spacesuit should not only use high-strength polyester and other materials, but also be supplemented by a variety of metals and adhesives. Such a "dress" is really expensive and heavy. A suit in the United States is worth more than 654.38 billion yuan. Because the spacesuit is regarded as a secret by the respective producing countries, it is impossible for ordinary people to know the details and specific materials of its production. The technical level of a country's spacesuit often represents its comprehensive scientific and technological level.
