How to set the et pattern that does not show shrinkage?
At present, there are two methods for garment CAD system to solve fabric shrinkage by pattern size.

1. In the garment CAD template system, the whole sample is added and reduced by water.

In the CAD pattern design system, see (Figure 07), the sample is made without considering the fabric shrinkage, and then in the dialog boxes of "Cutting Attribute Definition" and "Initial Shrinkage" input boxes, the fabric shrinkage of 5% for the horizontal yarn and 3% for the straight yarn are directly input, and the system automatically selects the sample size of the horizontal yarn as "1-5".

(Figure 08) The typesetting system as a whole retains the contraction of the mark frame in the horizontal and vertical directions. Similarly, this method can't consider the influence of wrapping thickness and manufacturing technology on clothing size, and it needs to be adjusted by the empirical data of pattern designers, which can't guarantee the stability of clothing size.
