What is Harry Windows?
It is an analysis template, which divides things in people's work and life into four pieces, representing four different kinds, which together form a' window'. The four quadrants in the communication window represent four different situations we encounter and need to be dealt with separately.
The four quadrants can be transformed into each other, the private quadrant can be transformed into the public quadrant through self-disclosure, and the blind quadrant can be transformed into the public quadrant through pleading for feedback. However, if the ultimate goal is lost, try to expand your public quadrant and give full play to your influence.
2. Discuss in groups and get the direction we need to work hard.
During the whole activity, everyone was divided into six groups and two camps to discuss two topics respectively-
First: What do you want to know about managers in your work and collaboration?
Second: What do you dislike most about managers in your work and collaboration?
In fact, as can be seen from the topic, the two topics are actually complementary. Through sorting, I found that everyone's concerns are really different. Our group got the first topic. In our work and cooperation, what we want to know most is the manager's quality, personality charm, sense of overall situation, cooperation ability and problem-solving ability ... It is almost impossible to write it on the blackboard, but in the second group discussion, what we wrote most was that we didn't like the manager's self-confidence, selfishness, lack of overall situation and emotionality. ...
Through this group of discussions, we all realize that it is really not easy to be a good manager. We should not only manage ourselves, but also manage leaders, subordinates and various interpersonal relationships.
3. Managers need to practice daily interpersonal cooperation.
Want to be a qualified manager, need a lot of practice, not overnight. Building a personal brand has become an indispensable leadership in this era. So what do we need to do?
Pay more attention to the occasion, language, attitude, what to say and do in any occasion, and be consistent in attitude, giving people reliable cognition. At the same time, it is essential for a leader to polish his professional skills. Secondly, he should do a good job in self-image management. A reliable image can always give people extra points. Finally, he should do a good job in words and deeds management and integrate knowledge with practice.
What impressed me most about this activity were two small partners, a newly graduated college student and a clothing boss. Both of them are particularly brave in speaking and sharing what they are doing and entrepreneurial stories. Unconsciously, they also expanded their public quadrant and let us know their entrepreneurial experience and growth experience.
The process of personal work is actually the process of continuous development of the open quadrant. College graduates enter the workplace alone, not many people know, and there is little content in the public quadrant. With the increase of work experience, more people know each other. At this time, the public quadrant begins to grow, and others' attitudes towards you will change fundamentally, and they will respect and trust you more. From this perspective, the expansion of the open quadrant is actually a process of continuous growth.
