The internal security force is a kind of police in the armed police sequence. Directly under the Armed Police Headquarters, there are provincial/autonomous region/municipality directly under the Central Government Corps, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Headquarters and 14 mobile divisions. Responsible for urban patrol, guarding important targets, dealing with emergencies, anti-terrorism and other tasks.
Armed Police Corps, Armed Police Detachment, Armed Police 86xx/87xx troops and other units with unclear police types are all internal security.
There is no police name on the armband of the new armed police uniform, and the armband words of eight police types in the whole sequence are unified as "China Armed Police". The name of the province and the code of the mobile unit are written on the badge of the internal security forces, and the names of the other four police types and the badges of the active public security forces are written on the badges of the police types.
